Improving Talent Acquisition strategies with Talent Intelligence
03 Jan, 20202 minWhat is Talent Intelligence?
Talent Intelligence is the process of gathering, analysing and applying information about talent either in general, or employees of competitor companies to inform business decisions relating to recruitment, compensation and benefits, developing an employer value proposition, and other strategic initiatives to enable companies to gain a competitive edge.
Is your Talent Acquisition team using Talent Intelligence?
Armstrong Craven delivers Talent Intelligence projects for our clients as a key service offering, however we have seen a recent trend in talent acquisition teams developing elements of Talent Intelligence as part of their capabilities and we have been working with clients to up skill recruitment teams and design new processes to enable them to deliver this capability internally.
As this is a relatively new field, Armstrong Craven has contributed to a white paper released by Philips entitled ‘Why, what and how: a guide to commercially successful Talent Intelligence in a digital era’ to outline the challenges, possibilities and best practice in developing Talent Intelligence capabilities.
Alongside Philips, we worked with companies including IBM, Merck, Microsoft and Mercer as well as Josh Bersin to provide insights into how companies can use Talent Intelligence to take a data-driven approach to talent acquisition and to support business decisions with information about location feasibility, competitor insights, and talent availability.
